US report reveals Pakistan's role in promoting Al-Qaeda

It’s more or less official now. Declassified portions of US intelligence documents bring out what has always been known: Pakistan’s complicity in propping up not only the Taliban, but also Osama Bin Laden’s Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan. Islamabad, it is now revealed, had directed the Taliban to facilitate Al-Qaeda’s expansion.
