Previous Entry | Main | Next Entry April 25, 2003 Flight Risk The recent disappearance of Isabella V. has created conflict within her family where views on how to move ahead are already clashing, the Agonist has learned. "Three camps have emerged. Two are support the 'go public' issue. The third quietly, however, supports what Isabella has done," a source close to the family has told the Agonist. The family has considered offering a reward for information on Isabella's whereabouts. The family has also taken steps to establish a fund for that purpose. It isn't clear, however, if a reward will actually be offered given the publicity that would certainly follow. "No one wants this out in the public eye right now," said the source. At least one European journalist has been "discouraged" from running a story on the incident, according to this same source who declined to provide additional details. The family seems entirely unaware that Isabella is electronically publishing her memoirs via weblog. "Technology doesn't have a major foothold in this household." It is unclear how long this particular oversight will last. The Agonist has also been alerted to the pending development of a web log dedicated to the investigation of Isabella V's identity and whereabouts.
