Some quick housekeeping notes and other miscellaneous stuff.

Things might be a little slow and/or weird around here for a few days as we complete the migration to the new server. Please be patient. As I have said before, "they are only growing pains."

Jay, our indomitable technologist is on the case, as it were. We will be upgrading the blog software (thank heavens) so it might take me a day or two to get into the habit or working with new software. But MT is the Blogistan standard of excellence. So I am not real worried.

We've re-done many of the category archives and as soon as the move is complete we'll rebuild every single entry every posted here at The Agonist.

Also, I bought Richard Clarke's book today and will be doing a review sometime in the very near future. I may post excerpts from time to time as well, as long as they fit into the 'Fair Use' category.

Furthermore, I'm working on interviews with two interesting authors as well. We'll see how it goes. But I do have a day job that interferes from time to time. Not to mention trying to write a book about my trip.

Finally, we'll be taking down the 'donation' button as soon as the move is complete. But before we do I have to ask: my laptop, a beat up old tiny Dell Latitude, is about to die and I really need a new one. If you have a few extra nickels or dimes think kindly of me, please. It's been all over the world, from Istanbul to Bombay in the back of a backpack and is almost dead.
