Abbas al-Rubaie, a spokesperson for al-Sadr, said the Iraqi people have the "power to attack its enemies and revolt on them." Al-Sadr's comments are in response to remarks from U.S. top administrator in Iraq Paul Bremer that he will veto any attempts to make the Shariah become the basis for Iraq's basic law.
