Suggest As New Ways To Generate Additional Funds For Our State Budget?
Q: Assuming that (a) toll roads and (b) a lottery are not options for new ways to create income for the state of North Carolina, what would you suggest as new ways to generate additional funds for our state budget?
A: -If your income did not support your personal lifestyle, what would you do? -What does the state need more money for? Perhaps they could hold a bake sale. -In order to repeal the intrusive state income tax the thing to do would be to legalize pot. At the present tax rate the estimated sales in North Carolina would bring in around two billion dollars. -But if you did that sheriffs deputies wouldn't be able to profit as much off of confiscated MJ. -I do not. I suggest^Wdemand that they curtail spending so damn much money. If there's one place to raise revenues, it would be to demand that college students pay a fair market rate for the education they are receiving at our state institutions. (Don't ask me if we ought to HAVE State institutions -- I'm stipulating that since we have them....)
