Report?

Q: I had no problem getting a report with the other 2 of the big 3 credit reporting agencies ( Experian and Equifax) but the TransUnion link took me to a web page that insisted I had been there before (I had not) and demanded a password for further progress. Is anyone else having a problem getting their free annual credit report from TransUnion via http://www.annuacreditreport.com ?

A: -I had no problem with all three (using the same web site you mention) last May. I wonder if you may have a firewall or something else that could give some web sites a problem. Maybe TransUnion needs cookies enabled or something like that. Good luck resolving the problem but again to answer your question, I had no problem getting my TU report from your site when I did mine last May. -It looked like they were just putting up obstacles and trying to make me jump through hoops in order to deny or minimize the number of free reports that they give out. The procedures to resolve this look like they direct you to an endless voice mail system before you can get to speak to a real person. By Federal law, each person is entitled get a free copy of their credit report once per year. This means you can have one report from each of the three agencies listed above.
