Gossip Perfume

GOSSIP perfumes for women by Cindy Adams were introduced in New York City in late 1997. Cindy Adams is a flamboyant and boisterous gossip columnist in New York who has never shied away from a microphone or a camera. One of the longest lived columnists for the New York Post Cindy Adams is also a biographer the writer of several well-received books, including one about her dog. Her biographies were of Indonesia’s late President Sukarno in 1965 and of the mother of the famous Gabor sisters, Jolie Gabor. It would appear fitting that a woman who has written more gossip than probably any other person alive should have an aura of gossip about her, but a perfume? Why Not? It would seem to be in line with the great American capitalist idea that if you can find a way to cross market basketball and gangster rap then gossip perfume with a gossip columnist is certainly not too eccentric. The buying public doesn’t seem to think too badly of the idea which it probably a more important point as the customer in a ten billion dollar business is almost always right. So what is GOSSIP perfume for women by Cindy Adams like? Some reviewers describe is as a refreshing blend of oriental, woody aromas. Ingredients include pepper, cinnamon, coriander, clove, rose,

jasmine, musk, amber, and vanilla. It sounds like if you took out the rose and the musk and add flour and sugar you might easily have the recipe for a New York fruitcake. But that may be a little harsh. How about a nice batch of muffins? In addition to her namesake perfume other products in the Cindy Adams line include GOSSIP Body Lotion for Women, Cologne Spray for Women, and if you are in the mood to splurge there is also a Cindy Adams Gossip Gift Set. If you buy one maybe Ms. Adams will throw in a copy of one of her less successful books like the biography of Jackie Kennedy that nobody seemed to have bought. Better yet maybe she could quote your name in the New York Post.
