Armani Cologne
Giorgio Armani was born in Piacenza, Italy in 1934. He started out studying to be a doctor but quit to study photography. His first fashion job was as a window dresser in Milan and from 1961 to 1971 he worked with Nino Cerutti, a leading men’s fashion house. He founded his own firm soon after and in 1975 he launched his first Aramani labeled clothing. In 1982 he introduced his own perfume, Armani, and expanded his retail empire throughout Europe and North America. Today Armani colognes come in a variety of fragrances and include Armani Black, Armani Emporio White, Armani Mania, Armani Night, and Armani by Giorgio Armani. Emporio for Men and Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani are the latest and currently most popular colognes. All of Armani’s colognes are tested by the master, Giorgio Armani, before they are released and only when he is satisfied are they put on the market for sale. Armani has developed a distinctive aroma for his men’s products that often feature the tanginess of fruit with the warm maleness of spices and woods like cedar and pine. Armani Mania has a combination of green mandarin, saffron, cedar, amber and musk. Acqua di Gio offers citrus notes, rosemary spiciness, jasmine, hint of wood and ocean breezes.
