White Gold Wedding Set?
Q: I am looking for a good White Gold Engagement/Wedding Set pair of ring
(the kind that the engagement ring slip into the slot-jacket of the
wedding ring) with 1/2 to 1 carat diamond on engagement and smaller
diamonds on the wedding jacket ring.
White Gold is much harder to find than regular Yellow Gold rings...
Can anyone point me in the direction of White Gold rings?
A:You really shouldn't have any trouble finding white wedding sets. Are you
going to national chains? Most fine jewelers and good jewelry
manufacturers make or will make in either white or yellow gold.
My suggestion would be to visit some of the smaller "mom and pop" jewelers
in your area who are willing to special order or can service you better
than the "fancy" looking places in the mall.
There are very few items in my store that cannot be had in either of the
most popular colors of gold. And when my manufactures don't make it....we
do.
Get out of the mall, son and find a real jeweler.
Note: this is not a flame, just some advice. Most of the crap we see today
has been generated by some high profile National chain. A fancy looking
store does not replace good old fashion exerience and very few have any
sharp jewelry people.
