Sterling Silver Claddagh Rings? (OH-PA)
Q: We'd consider a web site, but it's just not quite the same
as going and picking them out and having them sized properly.
And with a web site, you lose the subversive fun of watching
the smoke pour out of the salesperson's ears as sie tries to
figure out why we need *three* of them.... :-)
A:Actually, my primary and I did exactly that for our Outlaw Wedding and
were/are extremely happy with the results. Of course, it did help that
my primary had run into them in person (at Fat Fest, a convention for
fat women). I also don't think they'll blink at your wanting three
rings.
In case anyone's interested, my wedding ring, a Mokume Gane style
(folded metal) ring, made from copper, gold and white gold can
be purchaced at Claypot jewlers in park slope brooklyn, NY, or
possibly ordered via thier web site. Here's the URL with a picture
of the ring. *I* think it's nifty neato keen.
The claddagh is a motif (generally considered to
be irish, and thus turns up frequently in irish/celtic
shops[1]) which consists of two hands holding a crowned
heart between them.
Go on Eire honeymoon.
actually, http://www.efn.org/~sumiche/ is rather
pretty... pkd/tmithc flashbacks....
i've never liked the claddagh rings i've seen
