Pepperdine's Mission - Christianize The Law
Q: An in depth article in the New York Times (11/25/98) states that
Pepperdine's public courtship of independent counsel Kenneth Starr to
be dean of its law school has brought unprecedented attention to the
school, which is one of a handful of law schools that say their
mission is to incorporate the values of Jesus Christ into the law, and
are working to influence legal thought nationally. I view this as a
continuing and insidious attempt on the part of the religious right to
destroy the secular character of American society and plunge this
country into a dark age of oppressive theocracy.

A:And I guess Ken "nicotine is not addictive" Starr's defense of the Brown
and Williamson tobacco company was a big plus on his resume. There's
nothing like a defender of mass murderers to "incorporate the values of
Jesus Christ into the law"..
Nothing like Rev. Rushdooney's
