Need Help Creating Legal Letterhead?
Q: I have often received documents from other offices in which their Word documents have what appears to be embedded formatting (grayed out text) which is a legal letterhead. I have not been able to figure out how to create a similar document. How can I create a simple letterhead that will always appear (grayed out text) , and also a simple legal letterhead, which requires the text to be in landscape but the document in portrait?
A: Take a look at: How to set up letterhead or some other document where you want one header on the first page and a different header on other pages. http://www.addbalance.com/word/headersfooters.htm This gives step-by-step instructions. (It also has the following links) Some other pages to look at: Letterhead Tips and Instructions http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/Letterhead.htm What you are calling "Legal Letterhead" is a graphic or textbox in a margin of the first-page header.
