Madonna To Wear Princess Grace's Tiara In Wedding .
Q: Is the tiara actually owned by the royal family, or had it been loaned
for the wedding of Princess Caroline?
If it is owned by the royal family, I find it hard to believe that
they'd be willing to loan it to someone like Madonna. The Grimaldis
have their skeletons but Madonna is hardly what I would consider a
class act.
No doubt Madonna believes in karma, vibes, etc. For that reason alone,
I would think she'd have the heebies about wearing a tiara once worn by
someone who met such a tragic and grisly end .
A:Nowhere in all my pictures and pictures that I have seen of Caroline's
wedding (it was during the day...Grace wore a pale picture hat) did
Grace wear a tiara. Not even to the wedding ball.
I can't see the Grimaldi's lending something like this out. I think it
was just a tiara 'once worn by Princess Grace' but not hers. Rainier
guards Grace's things. I don't think for one second he would allow
Madonna to 'borrow' a tiara.
According to what I've read, the tiara is owned by a jewelry store.
Princess Grace wore it to a ball once, years after her wedding to the
Prince. I didn't read whether the jewelry store loaned the tiara to
Princess Grace too or later bought it from the royal family (or whoever
the original owner was).
