Lawyers For Sexual Harrasment
Q: Can this Female sue me for Sexual Harrasment?
I woke up this morning to find this girl sleeping next to me. I remember I picked her up at the bar yesterday, but she was still here. So I turned around and pushed her with my feet off the bed, then she woke up asking what had happen. I told her that Sleazy don't let females sleep over and she had to leave. Now I got a call from her lawyer saying I'm gonna be sued for sexual harrasment. Is that possible? Good thing I video taped what happen that night, it was consensual.
A: If the question is quasi-serious, no, you can't get sued for "sexual harassment." That's an employment law concept that only works when your employer or co-worker attempts to trade privileges of employment for sex or makesyour workplace an extreme and pervasive hostile work environment. Now, if you just plain old raped her, you could face criminal liability for rape, she could sue you for battery, false imprisonment, and probably a host of other torts.
