How To Use The Business Card Template?
Q: I'm new to Publisher 2002 and am trying to create a business card. I plan to print them on avery stock but page setup only has a template for 3/4 cards per page. No problem, I found this excellent website that has Publisher Templates http://www.mvps.org/publisher/ and downloaded the 10 card template. But how do I get my biz card into the template? Or better, how do I get the template I downloaded (a publisher file) as a "poc" in the "pubwiz" folder so it is there when I want to make a bizcard on a 10 card template?
A: You can't save the template in the pubwiz. You can save the template as a template so that it appears in your "Templates" :-). Open the template you downloaded, then go to File>Save As and change the File type to Publisher Template. To move your existing business cards to the template, you can just copy/cut from your business card publication and paste onto the template page.
