Gold Dome Ring, How Many Rings Do Are You Wearing?

Q: I thought I'd start a new thread. I currently just wear one ring on each hand (on the ring finger) but I am thinking about wearing more! I was wondering how many and what kinds each of you wear? I have a gold dome ring on my left hand and my college ring on my right. I was thinking about a ring for one of my little fingers maybe. Or I am also interested in sterling silver rings, and thought sometimes I might change my look and wear a bunch of them, as I think they look really neat.

A: I only wear one right on the ring finger of my left hand... a white-gold band with a princess cute diamond set on it... and no, I'm not married or engaged... a friend of mine gave it to me who passed away and I wear it for sentimental reasons. Its a plus because it drives away strange guys from hitting on me! I just flash my hand and they're gone in seconds (usually). On my left hand ring finger I wear my wedding band and engagement ring. Also on this hand I wear a diamond solitaire pinky ring. On my right hand I wear a gold thumb ring and on my ring finger I'm wearing this gorgeous amethyst and diamond ring that my sister sent to me. It's extra special because my sister almost died this February. Thankfully, God spared her as soon thereafter we lost our mother. I was given a birthstone and diamond ring that belonged to my mother, but I don't wear it because I'm so afraid of losing it. She and I have the same birthstone as our birthdays are only three days apart. This year I fear my birthday will be especially sad. Maybe I'll wear her ring then to see if it brings me any comfort. I wear my wedding band on my left ring finger. I don't often wear the engagement ring that came with it because it's

a marquise and gets caught on everything and everyone. I wear my mother's wedding set on my right hand most of the time, but some times with my wedding band on my left hand. It was what I wore while we were engaged so it has more emotion attached to it than the engagement ring that came with the band. I also have my dad's wedding ring that I will wear on my right hand. Mom had had it sized to fit her and so it fits me. Marilyn...wear your mom's ring on your birthday and hers...I bet it will bring you some comfort. Wearing my parent's rings does for me, I feel closer to them and I'm always reminded of the wonderful 51 years they had together.
