Q: I have discovered that large scale electronic harrasment is going on
in California. I am a victim of it. Who can tell me which law
enforcement agencies are concerned about this and will catch and
prosecute thoes doing it.
A:I would being by simply calling your local police non-emergency
number. They should be able to direct to a department which could
office some advice. Also, you may wish to contact your District
Attorney's office. Another excellent resource of legal issues is the
Law department or law library of a university in your area. Of course
contact a lawyer in the yellow pages is another option, and some
lawyers do offer initial consultation at no charge.
