Accredited Degree Earn Education
Q: How does one earn an accredited degree in six months for under
$1500?
A:By enrolling in one of three universities in the US that offer people the
chance to earn their degrees within 1 year at the most as long as they
demonstrate possession of academic credit. The different sources of credit
were described in the letter you received.
Enrollment fees are about $500, testing fees run betwee $45 and $60 per test,
and graduation fees run about another $500.
"Ashworth College will allow people to pay as little as $35.00 per
month to earn an accredited degree..." "...Does Excelsior do that?"
Actualy, Excelsior has made a payment plan for their enrollment fees
now (it depends on what school you take courses it to determine
whether you can finance tuition fees for classes or not.
I personally don't see that many problems w/ DETC degrees in the
workplace. I know a couple of people where I work that have gotten
their job because their degree. I think you can even become a
commissioned officer now in all four branches w/ a degree from a DETC
school (I may not be right on this one I seem to recall reading the
USAF allowing nationally accredited degrees).
FBI is another example. Before they wouldn't even accept non-resident
programs in general (DL, Assesment schools like TESC, Excelsior, &
COSC, etc.). Now they accept national and regional accredited
programs.
I think the problem w/ DETC is trying to pursue further education w/ a
degree from a school accredited by them. Some schools will not admit
you into their graduate program, nor will they transfer undergrad
credit towards a degree, just because
